Granary Carers Support Group was registered as an incorporated association on December 2020 The group is made up of unpaid carers  who support family members and loved ones  living with disability and mental illness. Drawing from their own lived experience, members understand the long term emotional , physical and social demands of caring,

The purpose Granary Carers Support Group Inc is to provide peer to peer support for other carers by creating a safe, understanding and nonjudgemental space where carers can connect, share experiences and support one another The group aims to reduce isolation, strengthen resilience and promote carers mental health & wellbeing through regular gatherings & respite focused activities Granary Carers. Support Group gives carers opportunities to take a break from their caring role, rebuild social connections and feel valued & heard. By carers supporting carers the group fosters hope , mutual encouragement and a sense of community for those who often place their own needs last
